It's a good idea to look at the different types of kitchen faucets, how to install them, and how they provide the right function for your needs.
Main types of kitchen faucets:
1. Pull-down kitchen faucet
Pull-down kitchen faucets use a spray wand that pulls directly into the sink. This can be used to clean dishes or produce. This is the most basic type of faucet you can order today.
2. Pull out the kitchen sink faucet
The difference with a pull-out faucet is how it pulls directly toward you. It works with a small button on the faucet, allowing you to adjust the flow of water from the faucet.
The biggest difference between the two is that the main body of the pull-out faucet is a straight line. A pull-down faucet is a curve that can only bend downwards.
3. Single lever sink faucet
A single faucet uses a single lever that you position from left to right to trigger warm or cold water. Depending on what you're dealing with, it may take some time to heat the water to the desired temperature
4. Two-Handle Sink Faucet
The dual handle option has separate levers for warm and cold water. Sometimes the two handles can be attached to the same centerpiece, but in other cases, they can be separated by inches from each other. Either way, they will be on the side of the main faucet. This also requires separate connections for hot and cold water, as you might find in a bathroom.
5. Commercial kitchen faucets
Commercial faucets feature a longer, more flexible design. Basically, it is relatively flexible, without too much camouflage. Depending on the model you choose, you may find a variety of faucets for different needs. This is intended to give your kitchen a more modern look.
